I would strongly recommend Sabita to organisers seeking a strategic, innovative and energetic facilitator.

The workshops [Sabita] runs are well prepared, innovative and great fun. People do not realize they are learning but they come away with new knowledge and above all the confidence to carry out the tools in practice.

What I can offer
- Design and facilitation of conferences, workshops and meetings to ensure full participation, creativity and, above all, results. It is all too easy to run meetings and workshops which seem engaging at the time, but which do not result in anything concrete that you genuinely put into practice. I will help to make sure that what we do in the meeting room will have true relevance to your everyday work and will encourage and equip participants to leave the room with concrete actions to take forward.

My facilitation experience
Ethical Trading Initiative Living Wage Conference I designed, planned and managed ETI’s two-day Living Wage Conference in April 2015 (and wrote this blog on it). It was attended by about two hundred international delegates from retail, supply, trade unions and NGOs. Speakers included industry leaders and a keynote address was given by the Archbishop of York. The second day consisted of practical workshops for companies.
Oxfam International Economic Justice Campaign (GROW campaign) – I helped to plan and facilitated the international conferences for review and forward planning of the overall campaign and a second conference for Oxfam GB‘s GROW campaign public campaigners from around the world.
Organiser’s feedback:
I would strongly recommend Sabita to organisers seeking a strategic, innovative and energetic facilitator. The support offered during the planning, devliery and evaluation stages was critical to the success of our meeting. Sabita would be the first name on my list for facilitating future meetings.

Participants’ feedback:
“Sabita – fantastic facilitator. Definitely should use again… and again.”
“Good. Creative. Light. Balance of getting to the important bits with a lighter approach.”
“Good time-management and very clear instruction. Great evaluation session too.”
“Brilliant facilitation. Sabita was fab!”
Sense International (international NGO supporting deafblind children and young adults in developing countries) – Facilitator/Consultant: Designed and facilitated session with Sense International country and regional directors to address gaps in impact assessment raised by institutional donors and programme managers. Identified M&E tools and approaches being used by NGOs and in the health sector that could be adapted for use by the organisation.
Sabita was given a complex brief to facilitate a learning session which she prepared for extensively. During the session her flair for communications enabled her to provoke thoughtful discussion and learning amongst a very diverse group of people. As an organisation we valued being able to draw on Sabita’s extensive knowledge of International Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Learning and Development and Communications in preparation for, during, and in follow up to, the session she facilitated.
